B.Th. Degree Course
Bachelor of Theology, Ministry, and Divinity is an undergraduate program. It is a three-year degree comprising 120 credit hours, which can be pursued after completing the 12th grade or an equivalent qualification.
Master Degree (M.Div.) course
Master of Divinity (M.Div.) the minimum requirement for the M, Div. degree is the successful completion of seventy -two credit hours and a three years postgraduate degree offered for applicant holding B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com or Equivalent. The degree both prepares students for Christian ministry and taking up leadership roles in the Church.
Master degree (M.Th.) Course
The Master of Theology (M.Th.) degree requires the successful completion of 72 credit hours. This is a three-year postgraduate program designed for applicants holding a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), or an equivalent degree. The program prepares students for Christian ministry and equips them to take on leadership roles within the church.
Doctoral Programs
DIU offers non-residential professional doctrol degree programs: the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) and Doctor of Theology
(Th. D). These Programs are designed to enhance the professional competence of pastors and Christian leaders through an integrated process of study and theological reflection.
Eligibility: Candidates must have a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) degree and a minimum of five years of ministerial experience. For those with a Master of Theology (M.Th.) degree, three years of practical experience is required.
Duration: The doctoral program typically takes three years to complete. It consists of five terms of coursework and at least one term of research to be completed within two years, totalling six terms. This followed by one year dedicated to writing and research.
Ph.D. Programs
DIU offers Ph.D. programs that allow for specialization in areas such as Biblical theology, Christian counselling, Christian ministry, Christian leadership, Missiology, and Biblical studies.
Eligibility: A Master's degrees in a related subject or it's equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
Duration: The program is research-focused and has a minimum duration of three years.The dissertation of twenty thousand words is required to be submitted after four years.
